Lake saif-ul-malook story

Saiful Malook Lake... A Place of Mystery, Romance and Demons....

The lake itself is so charming, so luring and so tempting that I fall in love with it. But as the fairy tales are. There are demons too. The landslides, the thunderstorms and heavy rains though have a romance of their own, yet in the hilly areas they do often reverse their roles with demons of the fairy tales. So even if I don’t want to leave, these villains of the mountains force me to. It’s a pity there is no proper rest area, no hotel or a guesthouse so I must come back even though I don’t want to (neither the federally owned PTDC nor any private organization has ventured to put up a facility here where you can find a shelter from the heavy rain). There is no hotel either where you can have a rest or can enjoy the serene, cool and magical evening in the company of this most enchanting lake. So visitors beware! Take meals with you, there is no restaurant. No place to refresh and no building except the loony hut maintained by the forest department, which most of the times remains closed. So before you plan to see the fairyland, be prepared to travel like Ibn-e-Batuta.

Elders in the valley tell the story of a prince by the name of Saiful Malook who fell in love with a fairy. The prince was a fond lover and explorer. He would usually come to the lake in wilderness, which was surrounded by tall snow clad peaks. One day the young prince saw a fascinating spectacle. A beautiful fairy was dancing on the surface of the lake. Curiosity brought him close to her and he stole her clothes. The modest fairy agreed to marry him in return for her clothes, an incident which turned into intense love. The couple started meeting but the union enraged the fairy’s demon lover, who was so angry that out of anger flooded the entire Kaghan valley. When the floods subsided, Saiful Malook went up the lake only to find that nobody was there.

unknown story

One of my friend and his roomate were sharing a 2 bedroom and 1 bath apartment. They used to study late at night at times. So my friend was studying late in his room when he heard the bathroom door lock, the light switch turn on and then he heard his friend crying...he got worried and then let it slide for a few minutes...10 minutes later he knocked on the door to check ifeverything is alright and the crying stopped but his friend didnt reply.
The next day he decided not to ask his friend because he thought it was probably something personal. Then the next night he heard the same thing...door close, locking of the bathroom and loud crying. Again, he went after several minutes to knock on the door and the crying stopped.
This time he asked his friend in the morning if everything is ok and his friend was like what are you talking about. Then my friend told him he heard the him cry for 2 nights now and was wondering whats wrong. His friend freaked out because he said I thought it was you in the bathroom and I was going to ask you if everything was ok too.
They both freaked the f out and kept swearing that none of them were playing a prank. I forgot if they eventually moved out of that place or not..but its pretty spooky I would say.

A Story by unknown

I have already shared a story about my nana and nani's house.now a days my grandparents live alone in that house. One morning, when my grandparents were having breakfast in the hall,an incident happened with them.hall me 2 rooms aur 1 drawing room k darwazy khulte hain.so my grandparents were sitting there and suddenly the door of drawing room opened and they felt like someone has entered the hall.they didnt see anyone but they felt it.just like we close our eyes n we cannot see but we can feel someone's prescence.both of them stuck to their place and stopped talking.after just a second or a two,wo darwaza jo hall se bahir garage me khilta tha, opened by itself and again the same feeling that someone has got out.mere nana foran us invisible personality k peechay gaye and he saw that the main gate is also opened.unhon ne main gate se bahir gali me jhaanka tou wahan koi nahi tha.that street is straight and long.so agar koi gate se nikla hota tou wo abhi gali me hi hota.... mere nana wapis aa gaye and dono ne apne ooper damm wagera kiya.a surprising fact is that the whole incident took place in morning, not like a scary or moonless night.and ye unka weham nahi ho sakta coz un dono ne hi ye feel kiya and they both witnessed the doors opening by themselves.

I found this story from website:
THE HAUNTED DOOR
Back in the early 1960s, Connie remembers,
her father brought home an old door that he
found in a pile of debris from a recently
demolished house. The door was in good
condition, so her father thought it would make
a good addition to their house since he was in
the midst of renovating the second floor. He
used it to close of the parents' bedroom from
the upstairs hallway.
Connie describes the upstairs as having a
crawlspace that ran behind both her parents'
room and the room that she shared with her
sister. The night after her father hung that
strange old door, weird things began to
happen.
"Around 3:00 a.m.," Connie says, "we were all
awakened by loud pounding coming from the
crawlspace. Everyone jumped out of bed! My
father ran into our room with a flashlight and
removed the access panel. We were petrified,
but when he shone the light inside the
crawlspace, he saw nothing. He was even
brave enough to enter the crawlspace, but
didn't find anything out of place."
Reasoning that the noise might have been
caused by an outside tree branch hitting the
house, Connie's dad replaced the access panel
and they all went back to bed.
A half hour later, the fierce pounding began
again. This time Connie's dad even checked
outside, but could find nothing that would
cause the noise. "Now we were really scared,"
Connie admits. "And for the next week, every
night the pounding happened. We were all
exhausted."
Finally, Connie's mom insisted that the old
door be removed. "She said she thought it was
haunted! We all laughed, but she was serious."
Connie's dad reluctantly took the old door out,
chopped it into splinters and burned it. Sure
enough, the pounding stopped and never
returned.

Haunted Houses of Pakistan!

January 9, 2014 • General
hauntedYou must have come across many stories about the haunted houses in Pakistan and especially in posh localities of Lahore and Karachi but my honest opinion regarding the topic is that where there might be some genuine events, I firmly maintain that many are cropped up by people pursuing personal interests.
Here is a list of stories, which I have personally heard repeatedly from different people, and I am sure you must have heard some of them too. I would even go further enough to tell you that from which precise location the stories have originated or the events have occurred.
Sindh – Karachi – If you were to tarry along the streets of block 6 at P.E.C.H.S, you will see a light glowing around house No. 39-K. where it might simply mean that someone is living there most people insist seeing a pale woman wearing a white dress, walking along the street and disappearing about 03:00 in the morning. While it may mean the end of her night shift at the Scare Corporation Ltd, most people maintain that the lady had been kidnapped, raped, murdered and buried there.
Sindh – Karachi – Liari – People claim that they have seen a ghost of a man badly wounded and bleeding from head to toe who vanishes if approached. The sight seems quite horrific while it is a matter of fact that in Karachi if a man is badly beaten and he is bleeding profusely, he would definitely flee in fear that his attackers have returned with a “BORI” trimmed in his size.
Punjab – Lahore – Z Block DHA– People claim that there is a big haunted house in DHA Phase 3 sector Z, which has been subjected to several exorcisms but the ghosts refuse to leave despite the owner’s attempt. It is believed that this is why the price of that property is considerably low. Whatever the people might say, I firmly maintain the belief that some ghosts were looking for some cheap plots in DHA and when they failed to find one (thanks to the property prices there) they simply haunted that house and started living there. That is the truth, if you are willing to believe!
So, these are some of the stories people told me and since I haven’t inspected these house personally, my conclusions about them might annoy some of you. If you have any stories to share kindly do so in the comments section below. I would love to lend your story an ear!
